Valkyrie Gives provides our donors with the confidence that 100% of their gift is going directly to a legitimate project that will positively impact the lives of women and children at risk.
Each partner project is personally vetted by meeting with them face to face, investigating their operation, and reviewing their financial records. We hold ourselves personally accountable for every dollar we donate. All administrative and other expenses associated with Valkyrie Gives are funded entirely by Valkyrie Racing.
In addition to providing funds, we look for ways we can become active participants in the organizations we sponsor.
We invite you to join us in making a difference in our world. Together, we are stronger and more powerful in our effort to effect change in the lives of those in need.
Helping women and children at risk
FRIENDS OF VALKYRIE GIVES
In the spring of 2018, Friends of Valkyrie Gives joined forces to make the first donation toward Valkyrie Racing’s Project 356’s #RaceToRescue campaign to fight child trafficking.
A donate of $32,000 was granted to The Exodus Road.
This Donation Supported:
The Cyber Center – Exodus Road hired another full time investigator for work in the United States to fight child trafficking.
Surveillance Equipment – Exodus Road purchased every operative a new Comms/Phone with SilverEye to obtain real time actionable evidence of victims being trafficked, and real time tracking of the investigator’s location to provide for their personal safety.
Most traffickers use modern technology to exploit our children. For this reason, we strategically chose to support an organization that fights child trafficking with the very technology that predators use to traffic our children.
In 2017, Valkyrie Gives partnered with Pilotos Panamericanos, a non-profit, volunteer based initiative supported by La Carrera Panamericana rally racecar drivers. The vision is to give back to the children in the country where we race.
Throughout the seven-day race, wesupported local orphanages in the towns we visited in the race with items they need to operate the facilities, and care for the children. Additionally, we gave small wish-gifts for each of the children in their care.
In a few of the race stages, we were able to stop and personally visit the orphanage, and hand deliver gifts and every day necessities to the children in residence. Being with the loving and cheerful children of Mexico is always a very big highlight.
As part of Valkyrie Gives vision to be modern day Valkyries, we volunteer to investigate child trafficking crimes and rescue victims of trafficking. This involvement is important for a number of reasons including obtaining accountability from the organizations we financially support, and being the eyes and boots on the ground for those who donate.
#RaceToRescue is at the heart of Valkyrie Racing’s Project 356 World Rally Tour. We are racing six races on seven continents with the goal of raising awareness and resources to fight child trafficking around the globe.
Renée Brinkerhoff, the founder of Valkyrie Racing and Valkyrie Gives, has a story to share of finding personal growth and purpose when pursuing a dream and confronting obstacles and fears to achieve that dream.
After experiencing success at the age of 57 in her debut race as a driver in La Carrera Panamericana, Renée realized that this accomplishment was a powerful platform to help others that were at risk and disadvantaged.
Renée's goal in the founding of Valkyrie Gives is to be a true Valkyrie for those in need, working to identify and aid woman and children in need of rescue and restoration.
